The sandbox action-adventure survival game ARK: Survival Evolved, developed by Studio Wildcard, previously announced its upcoming Unreal Engine 5 remaster, titled ARK: Survival Ascended, which was set to be released in August 2023.

However, recently, the official announcement stated that ARK: Survival Ascended has been delayed and will now be released in October 2023, landing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The reason for the delay is that the development team encountered various challenges with UE5.2, and in order to push the game to new heights, more time is needed to polish and refine the production.

As mentioned before, the remastered version will not only receive a noticeable visual upgrade but also add support for cross-platform multiplayer, cross-platform save files, new game modes, new features, among other improvements and adjustments.
