The remastered edition of Quake II, which was originally released by id Software in 1997, has been officially released for PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / Nintendo Switch / PC, and is now also accessible through Xbox Game Pass.

This release features the inclusion of the original mission packs "The Reckoning" & "Ground Zero," while also offering support for cross-platform play, as well as online and local multiplayer gameplay.
