It was recently discovered that South Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee has rated the undisclosed Quake II Remastered, indicating that there is a significant chance that the remastered version will be announced at QuakeCon 2023, which is scheduled to take place from August 10 to 13. The game was originally released by id Software back in 1997.

It's worth mentioning that the remastered version of the first Quake game also appeared on the South Korean rating website before its official unveiling at QuakeCon.

Quake II is a first-person shooter game that presents a completely different world compared to its predecessor. In this game, players engage in a series of battles against the invading STROGG alien race, with the aim of saving the survivors on Earth.
