Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, developed by Level-5 based on the popular media franchise Inazuma Eleven, announced today through its X (formerly Twitter) social platform that it will be adding a PC (Steam) version. This release will be simultaneous with the previously announced versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android platforms.
By the way, the previous announcement mentioned that the game is set to commence global beta testing for Nintendo Switch in March 2024. During this period, players will have access to single-player mode, online PvP mode, and story mode gameplay. It's important to note that save data from the beta test will not be transferable to the official version.
The full game is expected to launch sometime in 2024, with the specific release date yet to be disclosed.
The story of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road follows the protagonist, Unmei Sasanami, as he meets the football monster Haru Endo, and their encounter sets off a new legend, reigniting Sasano's passion for football and striving to revive the neglected football club. The game will offer a chronicle mode, featuring over 4,500 characters from past games, forming dream teams to battle players from around the world. Produced by MAPPA, the game features more hours of cutscenes and animations than ever.
