Back in May, Square Enix's FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster achieved the impressive milestone of 2 million copies sold worldwide. Recently, the official announcement reveals that the series has now surpassed 3 million copies sold to date. In just four months, it has seen an increase of 1 million in sales, likely attributed to the release of the PlayStation 4 and Switch versions back in April.
The FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series includes 2D remastered versions of the first six games in the series, from FINAL FANTASY to FINAL FANTASY VI. It also features remastered music and various new features, such as the bestiary, music player, illustration gallery, auto-battle function, and the option to save anytime, anywhere.
Additionally, the PS4 & Nintendo Switch versions also include exclusive functions such as BGM switching, turning off random encounters, and adjustment of EXP gain to offer players a more faithful experience to the original game, as well as more diverse gameplay options.
