Developed by Mundfish, Atomic Heart has been a hot topic since its release, such as the praise surrounding its outstanding in-game narration, as well as the Ukrainian government's complaints of the game. Recently, the developer announced that they are working hard in realizing a collaboration with Tesla, in order to feature their humanoid robots (Tesla Optimus / Tesla Bot) in the game's future DLCs.
Although the response by Elon Musk didn't confirm anything, the developer still presented several concept images and stated: "Suddenly, we’ve got a genius character, who developed unique bots that can’t be hacked! If you’re sure Optimus bots won’t riot with flamethrowers, it would be honor to place you and your bots instead of this roboticist! Let’s show players real bots of future, what do you think?:)"
While it's uncertain whether the Tesla robots will appear in the upcoming DLC of Atomic Heart, fans can keep their hopes up, as Musk is known for his unconventional moves.
The Tesla Optimus project was first announced in August 2021 and its prototype was unveiled in September 2022. It is a humanoid robot designed to assist humans with some of the more difficult tasks and to provide companionship.
