1997 年推出的 PS1 人气作品《Final Fantasy 7》时隔 23 年推出《Final Fantasy 7 Remake》，由原班人马回归研发推出，所有经典的场景、人物、怪物统统都以现代的技术重新还原，玩家将扮演克劳德重新探索庞大的米德加，与熟悉的伙伴「蒂法」、「艾莉丝」、「巴雷特」等人共同冒险对抗「神罗」！除此之外，游戏的战斗系统也有所不同，采用了全新的即时战斗机制！

《Final Fantasy 7 Remake》预定将在 2021 年 6 月 10 日登陆 Playstation 5 平台，推出加强版《Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade》，除了画面、性能强化以外，还追加了「尤菲」故事篇章。PS4 可以免费升级 PS5 版，支持存档数据转移，但追加的故事篇章 DLC 则需要额外购买。
