在最近举办的《剑侠情缘 3》周年活动上，西山居官方公开了《剑侠情缘》系列单机游戏新作《谢云流传》的最新实机演示画面，当中展示多个游戏场景环境探索以及战斗动作画面。目前这部单机新作还处于开发阶段，以自家的游戏引擎研发，采用更具有真实感的材质以及沿用《剑侠情缘网络版 3》的天气&昼夜系统，同时将会使用全场景的全景光照渲染技术。
本作《谢云流传》讲述着主角谢云流年轻时期的故事，据说在《剑侠情缘网络版 3》没做出的庞大场景会在单机版《谢云流传》呈现出来，玩家可以探索到更为庞大的世界。
