本作故事描述女主角「零」与她的妹妹「未来」迷失在死后的世界“边缘”，在找到回去原本世界的途中，姐妹两遭受了身份不详的异形袭击，为了妹妹的安全零与怪物战斗，但却因为自身暴走的力量误杀了妹妹，无别绝望之下，零选择与恶魔签订契约。
