Electronic Arts has officially announced the establishment of Cliffhanger Games, a new game development studio based in Seattle, USA. It was revealed that the studio's first project will be a third-person single-player game based on Marvel's Black Panther series. More information about the game will be announced in the future.

According to studio head Kevin Stephens, Cliffhanger Games is built upon the "values of diversity, collaboration, and empowerment". The studo aims to provide players with a unique, story-driven experience that captures the essence of what it means to be Black Panther through this upcoming game, and also aspire to bring to life the amazing world of Black Panther through the collaboration and empowerment of every individual within the development team.
It is also worth nothing that the Cliffhanger Games team consists of veterans who have previously worked on well-known titles such as God of War, Halo Infinite, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Meanwhile, Stephens also expressed his excitement about partnering with Marvel Games to ensure that every aspect of Wakanda is meticulously and authentically portrayed, including its technology, its heroes, and the original stories that they plan to present.
