Developer Massive Monster has recently released the free major content update titled Relics of the Old Faith for the roguelike game Cult of the Lamb. The update introduces new combat systems featuring the Relics abilities and Heavy Attacks, as well as new postgame content and new challenges such as Permadeath and Boss Rush.

"We want to make Cult of the Lamb the best game it can be and that’s why this Major Content Update is entirely free," said the developer. According to the game's official Steam page, Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger, and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.
