《The Wolf Among Us 2》最初是在 2017 年时公布，因为某些问题导致延期，而开发商 Telltale 在期间也因为公司面临倒闭问题导致游戏直接被取消开发，随后 Telltale 被 LCG Entertainment 收购重组才可以继续开发本作。至于本作的具体发售日得等官方后续公布的情报才能知晓。
