但在今日，小岛秀夫就出面在推特上发帖澄清表示，“好像误会了，Kojima Production 一直都是以及将继续是一家独立的游戏开发工作室”。此外，在 PS Studios 官网上公布的工作室阵容也并没有出现 Kojima Production，所以玩家们不必再猜测，大家一起期待未来小岛带来的第二款游戏吧！
