Following the discontinuation of the traditional Chinese version on June 30 last year, Square Enix's mobile game spin-off of the NieR series, NieR Re[in]carnation, has announced its plan shut down the Japanese server on April 30, 2024. The official release of the final chapter "The People and The World" is set for March 29, 2024, marking the conclusion of over two years of operation.
The official statement reads, "Until the end of service, we will continue to add content and characters, as well as hold various events and campaigns, so we hope you will continue to enjoy NieR Re[in]carnation until the end."
NieR Re[in]carnation is an RPG mobile game set in a realm known as the Cage, where players take on the role of a silent and memory-impaired female protagonist. Accompanied by ghost-like companions, players explore, face various monsters, and embark on a dark adventure, unraveling the truth behind the story.
