Take-Two Interactive 近日宣布，将以 4.6 亿美元的价格从 Embracer Group 收购旗下游戏工作室 —— Gearbox Entertainment，并且会作为 2K 标签下的工作室继续运营，同时由创始人兼首席执行官 Randy Pitchford 及其管理团队领导。
收购完成后，Gearbox Entertainment 将保留 Gearbox Software、Gearbox Montréal、Gearbox Studio Quebec 工作室，以及《无主之地》、《小缇娜的奇幻之地》、《家园》《雨中冒险》《兄弟连》《毁灭公爵》等特许经营权。顺带一提的是，目前 Gearbox Entertainment 有六个处于不同开发阶段的“关键互动娱乐项目”，其中包括五部续作，两部来自《无主之地》和《家园》系列。
