The impressive initial sales of Tekken 8 significantly outpaced those of its predecessor, Tekken 7, which presently maintains the series' highest total sales record, boasting over 11.8 million copies sold worldwide.

Tekken 8 is a brand-new fighting game that marks a nine-year gap since its predecessor. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game not only offers an unparalleled visual experience and detailed character designs but also aims to deliver a visceral and exhilarating fighting experience.

According to the official description, the game is set against the backdrop of the world half a year after the events of Tekken 7. It follows the story of Jin Kazama as he challenges his father, Kazuya Mishima, in a struggle against fate, where he'll face powerful enemies and a series of brutal challenges.
