The controversial title The Day Before recently launched its Early Access version, but it faced substantial criticism, earning numerous negative reviews due to various issues. IGN even gave it a rating of 1.
Within a few days of launch, Fntastic, the developer, declared that it's shutting down. The reason cited was a lack of funds for ongoing operations, with all income intended for repaying debts to their partners. The complete announcement is as follows:
Fntastic's actions not only stirred strong resentment among players but also prompted mockery from within the gaming community. The official announcement of Fntastic was joking used by the official DayZ team, adapted to commemorate the game's tenth-anniversary milestone. Likewise, the Rust team also took a similar approach, using the same template but humorously crossing out the game's name and inserting "Rust" instead.
DayZ was initially released in Early Access on December 13, 2013, and underwent five years of refinement before launching its official 1.0 version on December 14, 2018. Following this, in 2019, the game introduced new DLC content. It has continued to operate since then, maintaining a substantial online player base, which is no small achievement.
