System Shock remake will delay its PC release to May 30

Developed by Nightdive Studios, System Shock remake has recently announced that its PC version will be delayed to May 30 from the originally scheduled release in March, and will be launched on Steam / GOG / Epic Games Store. In addition, players who pre-ordered the game will also receive the System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition as a bonus.

System Shock is a first-person action-adventure game released in 1994. In order to fund the creation of a remake, developer Nightdive Studios launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in 2016 and has since received immense support from many players, with the amount reaching $1,350,700 in total. The game is set in a space station in the year 2072, where players will take on the role of an unnamed hacker exploring the station, fighting enemies, solving puzzles, and attempting to thwart the malicious artificial intelligence program named SHODAN. In addition, the remake updates the game mechanics, graphics, enemy AI systems, and adds a new arsenal of weapons, along with new areas to explore.
