Details, screenshots and release date of the upcoming Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was leaked on PlayStation Store ahead of its official listing.
The leak was originally discovered by Redditor shin_true92 (according to TechRaptor) before being picked up by the PlayStation games price tracking website PSDeals (via Gematsu).
The game is reportedly set for release on November 9 this year for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / PC.
Official confirmation of the game's release date is expected to be announced at the RGG Summit Summer 2023, which will take place on June 16.
According to PSDeals, in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Kazuma Kiryu, who was once a legendary yakuza, faked his own death and abandoned his name for the sake of protecting his family. Now, he is thrust into conflict by a mysterious figure attempting to drive him out of hiding.
Under the codename “Joryu,” Kiryu embarks on a gripping action narrative with bone-shattering combat in vibrant locations filled with exciting characters and activities.
Similar to the series' previous entries, The Man Who Erased His Name will also feature various interesting mini-games such as karaoke, cabaret club, and pocket circuits, as well as thrilling sub-missions that will draw you into an epic showdown.
Combat-wise, you can freely switch between the powerful Yakuza style or the agile Agent style, leveraging the strengths of both style to overcome hordes of enemies.
