为了庆祝《MAFIA》系列正式迎来 20 周年，发行商 2K 与开发商 Hanger 13 为还未接触过本作的粉丝送上一份礼物，那就是《MAFIA》系列初代作品将会在今年 9 月 1 日 - 9 月 5 日期间于 PC Steam 平台上开放限时免费领取，对此有兴趣的粉丝可千万别错过。此外，官方还释出一段 20 周年纪念影片让玩家观赏。
除了免费领取的情报以外，官方还表示目前《MAFIA》系列完全新作正在开发中，根据 Hanger 13 工作室总经理 Roman Hladik 表示，虽然完成系列新作需要几年时间，而且目前也没办法向系列粉丝透露其他资讯，但是很开心能够开发这款备受粉丝喜爱的作品，用全新的故事带给玩家们欢乐。
