在今年七月份，Valve 就发表了名为「Steam Deck」的便携式 PC 掌机，预定 12 月于美国、欧洲、加拿大、英国发售，至于其他国家则预计会在 2022 年推出。最近，外媒 PC Gamer 采访了 Valve 的产品设计师 Tucker Spofford 和 Greg Coomer，深入了解了 Steam Deck 主机配色的想法。
目前即将推出的 Steam Deck 之所以只有单一的黑色选项，主要是因为制造统一版本的硬件比制造多种颜色版本来得更容易，同时也可以顺利的完成生产。但是，这并不意味 Valve 未来不会推出其他颜色版本，当 Valve 认为 Steam Deck 已经取得某种程度的成功，未来就有机会推出各种配色设计的款式。
