In today's State of Play livestream, the official reveal took place for the latest addition to the Death Stranding series, titled Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Created by Kojima Productions, the open-world action game showcased an announce trailer and revealed its planned release in 2025 for PlayStation 5.
According to the game's official description,
In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected?
