Developer Odyssey Interactive has recently revealed the studio's latest plans for their free-to-play 3v3 competitive game Omega Strikers, which was launch initially on April 28 this year.
The team announced that they will be fully dedicated to the development of a new game set in the world of Omega Strikers, while Omega Strikers itself will continue to receive updates until 2024. However, after that point, the game will no longer receive new content such as character skins, maps, heroes, or seasons, among others.
It's important to note that this is a cessation of updates, not a shutdown of the game. Even after the updates cease, the official servers will remain open, allowing players to continue playing and matchmaking with other online players, and the in-game store will still be functional
As for the new project currently in development by Odyssey Interactive, there is currently a lack of specific details, and players are eagerly anticipating further announcements from the official source.
