Following the recent official announcement of the new title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Activision has confirmed that players can carry forward unlocked content from the previous game Modern Warfare II, including weapons, cosmetic skins, operators, bundles, and other rewards. This is undoubtedly great news for veteran players and is likely to attract even more players from the previous installment to join the new game.
Furthermore, all weapon progressions, attachments, camos, and other aspects carried over to Modern Warfare III will be fully preserved. However, the weapon camos from Modern Warfare II can only be used on weapons from the same game and cannot be applied to weapons in Modern Warfare III.
It's also important to note that there will still be a small portion of content from Modern Warfare II that cannot be inherited, such as certain vehicles, equipment, and other items that do not exist in the upcoming game. For more detailed information, please refer to the official announcement.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is currently set to be released on November 10. Further details are yet to be announced and are expected to be revealed in the near future.
