光荣特库摩旗下历史模拟游戏《三国志 8 重制版》原定于 2024 年初推出，但后来因为需要更多时间提升质量决定延期。直到最近，官方正式公布了最新发售日期，确定将于 10 月 24 日上市，登陆 PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Nintendo Switch / PC (Steam) 平台。
本作以 2001 年发售的经典历史模拟游戏《三国志 8》之《三国志 8 with 威力 加强版》为基础进行全新重制，同时也追加了众多新要素。《三国志 8 重制版》不但保留《三国志 8》的「全武将扮演系统」以及「全年代剧本」等优点，也将采用光荣特库摩引以为傲的最新技术，带来更精致的画面与全面更新的游戏系统。跨越 20 年时光的《三国志 8》将做为三国志系列的最新作，再现经典！
