这阵子《Don't Starve》开发商 Klei Entertainment 宣布腾讯收购了公司大部分股份，同时工作室也与腾讯达成共识，保有独立经营权，一切的运行、开发、员工等等各方面都依旧相同。
开发商 Klei 也透露为何选择让腾讯收购合作，因为近年来他们与大量的发行商沟通接触，但唯独只有腾讯是唯一一家可以让 Klei 保持自主经营的公司，而且在过去 Klei 也与腾讯合作多年，甚至在一些事情上双方意见不同，腾讯依然会为双方找出最佳的解决方案。腾讯收购大部分股份之后，并不会对 Klei 在世界各地营运的游戏有任何影响，同时 Klei 也希望这样的伙伴关系可以帮助他们更好地为中国玩家们提供良好的支持。
