在今年年初，索尼就宣布 SIE Japan Studios 将会迎来重组，以《Astro Playroom》幕后的开发团队 Team Asobi 为中心，同时也让团队专注于单一愿景。而近日 Playstation 官方网站上的第一方工作室页面已经把 SIE Japan Studios 移除，取而代之的就是 Team Asobi 。
根据前阵子外媒 VCG 报道所述，实际上 SIE Japan Studio 重组是因为盈利能力有限，而且工作室本身在发展计划上存在分歧。SIE Japan Studio 希望优先为日本市场开发具有全球吸引力的游戏，但 Playstation 上层则希望 SIE Japan Studio 可以好像北美、欧洲第一方游戏团队那般，以全球市场作为优先考量。希望接下来 Team Asobi 可以带来更好的游戏作品。
