根据外媒 VCG 报道透露，今年举办的 E32021 上并不会有 Sledgehammer Games 所开发的《Call of Duty》系列新作《Call of Duty:Vanguard》发表，据说这部新作将会以二战的欧洲和太平洋战区为背景，提供战役、多人游戏和僵尸模式等等作为特色，并预计可能会在今年 11 月份发售。
除此之外，外媒提到目前开发团队正在为《Call of Duty:Warzone》准备更多游戏内容以及全新的地图，而这个更新计划或许将会与《Call of Duty:Vanguard》发表时同步揭晓，更多准确消息有待今后官方亲自公布。
