本次《Monster Hunter Stories 2: 破灭之翼》公开了更多游戏实机画面，许多历代魔物都会登场，前作曾经协助过玩家的「纳比露」将会继续登场，与玩家展开冒险旅程，查明传说的真相，而游戏中还追加了「共斗迷宫」多人合作挑战任务玩法。以此同时，官方宣布本作预定会在 7 月 9 日全球同步发售，除了推出 Nintendo Switch 版以外，还将会登陆 PC Steam 平台。
