腾讯近年来一直不断的收购游戏公司，而在最近又收购了一家开发过大家童年游戏《Left 4 Dead》的开发商 Turtle Rock Studios，这家工作室今年还推出过一款精神续作《Back 4 Blood》，如今将会加入腾讯旗下，但依然会保持独立营运，同时不会影响 Warner Bros. Games 继续发行。
Turtle Rock Studios 总裁兼总经理 Steve Goldstein 表示非常期待加入腾讯大家庭，腾讯是个具有全球影响力的优秀合作伙伴，对游戏有着的深入了解以及提供前所未有的支持会帮助到团队创造出梦想中的游戏，同时还能继续保持独立营运。而 Tencent Games 全球首席战略官 Eddie Chan 则表示他们都是 Turtle Rock 游戏的忠实粉丝，尤其是创造多人合作游戏的惊人方法，并且迫不期待的想看接下来会发生什么事情。
