在最近举办的中国游戏开发者大会上，制作人横尾太郎和齐藤阳介在采访中透露《NieR》系列手游《NieR Re[in]carnation》确定将会推出简体/繁体中文版，已经正在制作当中，但是什么时候推出还无法确定，期待日后公布。
本作《NieR Re[in]carnation》是一款独特的 RPG 手游，背景设定在名为 The Cage 的领域，玩家将会扮演一位失忆且无声的少女，并在犹如幽灵般的夥伴同行探索，面对各種怪物以及经历黑暗的冒险旅途，揭晓故事背后的真相。
