由 343 Industries 所研发的《Halo》系列新作《Halo Infinite》今日在 Gamescom 2021 直播发布会上，正式宣布预定 12 月 8 日发售，登陆 Xbox One / Xbox Series X&S / PC 平台。以此同时，微软还发表了《Halo Infinite》主题限定版 Xbox Series X 主机和游戏手柄，预定 11 月 5 日推出。
本作《Halo Infinite》是一款第一人称射击游戏，游戏设定在《Halo 5: Guardians》之后，延续士官长的故事，玩家将会扮演士官长挺身而出拯救人类的未来，面对冷酷无情的各种敌人，成为人民的大英雄踏上冒险旅途，探索规模巨大的环带。
