Google Stadia 最早在 2019 年 10 月公布，并在 11 月开始推出云游戏服务。据 Google 官方的声明中，Stadia 负责人 Phil Harrison 表示《Cyberpunk 2077》最能体现他们的技术水平，尽管 Stadia 从一开始曾因为技术问题和贫乏的游戏库问题不被看好，但《Cyberpunk 2077》为他们证明了 Stadia 是游玩最可靠的平台之一。虽然关闭了第一方游戏部门会对其 150 名员工造成影响，但 Google 表示他们会努力为这些员工在公司内找到新职位。
