日本知名开发者「小岛秀夫」率领的游戏工作室 Kojima Productions 于今日宣布将在美国洛杉矶成立第二分部，但该部门比较注重于电影、影集与相关娱乐内容。而这次成立的新部门预定将由曾在 SIE 担任最高法务负责人与业务担当副社长等职务的「Riley Russell」负责统领。
对于这次新部门成立的原因，主要是扩大 Kojima Productions 旗下作品的影响力与知名度，未来期盼与众多优秀娱乐人才进行合作，至于具体是会以什么样的方式呈现，目前还未知晓，期待官方后续公布的情报。
