前阵子微软与动视暴雪的收购案正式公布之后，截止至今依然尚未真正完成，预计明年 6 月完成，现还处于监管机构调查和等待批准情况，由于这起收购案也牵涉不少作品，例如《使命召唤 Call of Duty》系列，导致整个收购还在周旋，为了避免垄断情况发生，尽管微软方面愿意签署长期合同，保证不会将此作抽离原有平台。
就在刚刚，Xbox 负责人 Phil Spencer 在推特上发文，表示在微软和动视暴雪合并之后，将作出为期 10 年的承诺，让《使命召唤 Call of Duty》系列登陆到任天堂平台，致力于帮助把更多游戏带给更多人，无论他们选择玩什么。与此同时，他也确定会同时向 Xbox & Steam 继续提供《使命召唤 Call of Duty》。
