根据官方介绍所述，这款《碧蓝幻想 Versus》系列格斗对战新作《碧蓝幻想 Versus Rising》除了保有原作基础以外，还将增加全新动作、新招式、新角色、新机制、新舞台场景、新故事剧情以及其他强化内容等等，而在对战系统方面，确定支援回滚式网络代码、跨平台服务，同时也会增强图形表现。除此之外，本作中还收录小游戏《Grand Bruise Legends》，玩家可以与其他数十名在线玩家一同玩耍，参与丰富多样且独特有趣的大逃杀模式。
