Monster Hunter: World PC sees ongoing increase in concurrent players, reaching half of its peak from six years ago!

Ever since CAPCOM unveiled the forthcoming addition to the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Wilds, and initiated a special sales campaign with the hashtag #ReturntoWorld, coupled with active engagement within the player community, the online player count for Monster Hunter: World on Steam has resurged. By January 7, 2024, the game's active players has surpassed 162,404 players, marking half of the peak player count from six years ago (approximately 330,000).

According to recent announcement by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, the global cumulative sales of Monster Hunter: World have reached an impressive 23 million copies by 2023. Meanwhile, more information about the highly anticipated sequel Monster Hunter Wilds is expected to be revealed in the summer of 2024. The game is scheduled for release in 2025.
