Riot Games announces the latest update to its strategy game Teamfight Tactics, titled Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound. This free update, which is launching September 12, brings more than a dozen new Champions to the roster and a host of rule-bending portals, powerful augments, and items designed to turn the tide of battle.
Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound brings players to the edges of Runeterra, with destinations in the dangerous smuggler haven Bilgewater and the reclusive jungle lands of Ixtal. Champions from both regions will be joining the action in Horizonbound. Players can battle it out for superiority in four new nautically themed arenas while reacting to ever-changing team dynamics and portals that change the core rules in surprising new ways.
Horizonbound brings new cosmetic unlocks to players through its updated Battle Pass, giving players more ways to express themselves while climbing their way to victory. The free track includes a dozen themed rewards, while those who opt for the paid track can access more than 30 cosmetic enhancements including four visually distinct arenas.
Riot has also focused on improving Teamfight Tactics as a whole, squashing a variety of bugs. An improved Champion Inspect feature adds another coat of UI polish to the game, making it easier than ever to see what each Champion brings to battle before committing valuable bench space on them.
More information and details about Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound are revealed on the Teamfight Tactics official site. Pre-registration for Teamfight Tactics Mobile has also opened across Asia Pacific, through the pre-registration microsite and the Google Play Store. More news will be released about pre-registration for players on the App Store, and in Vietnam, at a later time.
