近日根据外媒 Theinformation 报道所述，Epic Games 正在考虑成立一个专注于影片内容制作的娱乐部门，并且打算制作旗下最人气的游戏《FORTNITE》改编电影，透过娱乐多元化的方式来创造更多收益，同时也可以稍微弥补《FORTNITE》在手机平台遭到下架后的损失。
另外，在前阵子 Epic Games 就挖角了 LucasFilm 公司的三位顶尖员工，其中还包括实际制作副总裁 Jason McGatlin，而他现在正在担任 Epic Game 特殊项目的总裁。目前关于 Epic Games 的娱乐部门暂时还未有太多详情，但有消息来源表示《FORTNITE》电影故事确实已经有讨论。
