近日《生化危机 4》制作人在接受外媒 EDGE 的采访中提到，《生化危机 4 重制版》保留了原版游戏的总体框架，同时也会作出一定程度的改变，确保提供给玩家崭新的体验。此外，制作人也确认岛屿区域会继续保留，甚至会增加更多内容，并且分享了幕后开发安排，透露开发团队分为多个小组，负责处理村庄、城堡、岛屿部分，最后在将其结合。
