Bethesda Softworks had previously revealed that their open-world RPG Fallout 4, released in 2015, would receive a next-gen update for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2023. However, the official announcement has recently stated that due to the need for additional development time, the update has been postponed and is now scheduled for release within 2024.
The next-gen update for Fallout 4 is set to present enhanced performance modes with higher frame rates, 4K resolution, bug fixes, and additional rewards from the Creation Club. Moreover, players who already own the game will receive a free upgrade, ensuring that existing players can enjoy the improved features without an additional cost.
