SEGA 以人气作品《动物朋友》为题材所推出的智能手机游戏《动物朋友 3》曾在今年 6 月 6 日正式上架日服 Playstation 商店页面，但游戏在 6 月 16 日突然发生玩家无法正常登陆游戏的 BUG，官方为了修复这个 BUG 便开始进行维护，没想到一维护就维护了将近两个月的时间。然而在昨日官方推特发布一则公告表示，由于要解决这个 BUG 实在有点困难，所以他们决定将结束 Playstation 4 版运营。此外，凡是有在 Playstation 4 平台上购买《动物朋友 3》氪金物品的玩家，将会获得全额退还。
《动物朋友 3》是 TV 动画第一季《动物朋友》开播后开始企划的游戏作品，本作的游戏玩法、系统等都获得不少玩家好评。本作是以杰伯利公园作为主题背景，里面有杰伯利公园保安调查队的各种设施、码头、湖泊不同的地点等等。同时本作中还设有玩家据点，玩家可以在其中使用家具、电器、海报等等自由设计，享受自订玩法的元素。此外，还可以透过游戏战斗系统推进故事，并以招待功能与更多动物朋友相识。
