在今日，CD Projekt Red 官方宣布《The Witcher》系列新作正在制作当中，并且将与 Epic Games 成为技术合作伙伴，采用 Unreal Engine 进行研发工作，但暂时还未公布任何关于新作的细节，仅亮相了一个带有徽章的宣传图，写着 A New Saga Begins （新的传奇开始）的标语，更多细节有待今后官方揭晓。虽然新作与 Epic Games 有合作关系，可是官方承诺不会在任何一个商城独占。
除此之外，CDPR 也特别强调，接下来的《Cyberpunk 2077》扩展内容、更新内容等等都会继续使用自家的 RED Engine 研发。
