Developed by The Game Kitchen and released in 2019 for PC and consoles, action platformer Blasphemous was very well-received and won multiple awards.

Recently, the game's creative director posted a picture on Twitter, revealing the release of Blasphemous 2 in 2023.

Blasphemous was set in a dark gothic world named Cvstodia, where a force known as The Miracle would manifests itself by sometimes blessing or cursing the Cvstodia's inhabitants, condemning them to eternal torment by turning them into twisted creatures. In order to change the status quo, players will play the role of The Penitent One, a survivor of the massacre, who will fight against a series of evil monsters and uncover the secrets of this twisted world.
