Streamer "50calapr" on Twitch was recently playing Escape from Tarkov when a barrage of gunshots were heard outside his apartment. He then quickly grabbed the rifle he had behind him and headed towards the door, seemingly ready to join the real-life gunfight happening outside.

Later, netizens shared clips of this incident on Reddit, which sparked discussions. 50calapr also appeared in the comments, reassuring Redditors that he was unharmed. According to him, the shooting was related to drugs/gangs, and although no one was hurt, stray bullets shattered the glass of his apartment door. He also joked about how difficult it is to live in the area.

Redditors were relieved to hear that the streamer was safe, with some jokingly referring to it as a "real-life gameplay of Escape from Tarkov". According to 50calapr, incidents like this happen often, and as a full-time university student, he has to remain vigilant at all times.
