At the Developer_Direct event held earlier today, Xbox Game Studios announced that the sequel to the Hellblade series developed by Ninja Theory, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, is set to be officially released on May 21, 2024. The game will be available on Xbox Series and PC, and will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup at launch.

According to the game's official Steam description,

The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
