The light novel Trapezium, created by former Nogizaka46 member Kazumi Takayama, officially announces its adaptation into a theatrical anime film.
Alongside the announcement, a teaser trailer has been released, revealing details about the production team and theme song.
The anime film will be produced by CloverWorks, known for works like SPY×FAMILY and Bocchi the Rock!. The release is scheduled for May 2024 in Japan.
The story of Trapezium follows Yuu Higashi, a first-year high school student, on a ten-year journey of relentless efforts to become an idol. In her pursuit of idolhood, she adheres to four principles: avoiding social media, refraining from dating, maintaining a low profile at school, and befriending beautiful girls from all over Japan. Will she be able to achieve her goals and dreams?
