The driving survival adventure game Pacific Drive, developed by Ironwood Studios and published by Kepler Interactive, has announced a delay from its originally planned release in 2023 to early 2024 for PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store. The official statement mentions that the primary purpose of this delay is to ensure that the game could achieve its optimal state, while also prioritizing the health of the development team.
According to the official description of Pacific Drive,
In this run-based driving survival adventure, you face supernatural dangers on each expedition into the Olympic Exclusion Zone. Make your base of operations in an abandoned garage, where you’ll research new parts, customize your station wagon, and chart routes deeper into the Zone. As you gather precious resources and investigate what’s been left behind in the Zone, you learn exactly what it takes to survive in this unpredictable, hostile environment.
