CAPCOM 官方今日宣布旗下刚发售的《Resident Evil 8:Village》全球销量已突破 300 万份，其中包括各个平台版本，而《Resident Evil》全系列累计销量已经突破 1 亿套，至于前作《Resident Evil 7》截止于 2020 年 12 月 31 日的累计销量为 850 万份，相信《Resident Evil 8:Village》有望超越前作。
本作《Resident Evil 8:Village》是一款第一人称射击恐怖游戏，舞台设定于一个以古堡为中心的村庄，故事讲述着 Ethan 原本与妻子 Mia 和女儿过着和平的生活，但这样幸福美满的生活很快就因为 BSAA 队长 Chris 袭击打破，夺走了 Ethan 的女儿 ... 而为了夺回女儿，Ethan 前往了一个诡异神秘又充满谜团的村庄，展开了全新的冒险故事！在这个村庄有着女巫、狼人以及其他怪物，等待着他的便会使一个残酷的挑战！
