近日《No Man's Sky》开发商 Hello Games 联合创始人兼董事总经理 Sean Murray 接受外媒 IGN 采访时透露，目前工作室正在研发一款新作，但并不是《No Man's Sky》的续作。就算不是续作，Sean Murray 表示团队们依然雄心勃勃的筹备当中，而且其规模非常庞大，有点类似于《No Man's Sky》，这个项目即使拥有 1000 人的团队，看起来也似乎不太可能完成的任务。
虽然 Hello Games 已经有筹备新作，可是截止于去年 9 月，这款新作还处于非常早期开发阶段，而且短期内应该不会有任何细节消息，因为先前 Sean Murray 有谈及到他们已经吸取了过往《No Man's Sky》事件的教训，所以不会太早谈论游戏或释出消息。此外，目前营运中的《No Man's Sky》依然会持续保持更新，这两款游戏并不会影响彼此开发。
